Member of Cumulus Association

ESAG/Penninghen has been a member of the Cumulus network since 1991 and founding member of the Cumulus Association (European Association of Universities and Schools of Art, Design, and Media), since its creation in 2000 in Rotterdam. This association became international in 2005. In 2009, it is comprised of 150 institutions.

Member of France Design Education

ESAG Penninghen is member of France Design Education with:

Partnership signed by three schools of higher education located in the 6th Arrondissement in Paris:

  • ISEP (Electronic  Engineering  School)
  • IPAG (Business Administration School)
  • And ESAG/Penninghen (Design School)

These schools have joined forces to envision products and services of tomorrow.

Design Seminar

Organized jointly by the Ecole des Ponts Paris Tech (School of Public Works) and  the Ecole d’Architecture de la ville et des territoires (School of Architecture and Town/Regional Planning), the Design Seminar has opened its doors to other architecture schools and, since 2008, to design schools. Durong one week, student  engineers, architects, and designers work in teams to experiment processes ranging from technical design to mechanical performance; they design and  produce prototypes,  then  test their projects.

Professional Partnerships

ESAG/Penninghen contracts partnerships with companies and organizations, so as to guarantee students a curriculum in touch with the realities of professional life. Recent industrial partnerships have been set up with Truffaut, SEAE Lighting, Outside Living Technologies, Cultur’Acier, Forum des Halles, Necker Enfants Malades Hospital, Vins Nicolas, Rank Xerox, Maison des Contes et des Histoires,Conservatoire de Musique, Kenwood…
