Project

Why does Google fascinate us so much ? Maybe because Google’s original mission was « to organize the world’s information and make it universally accessible and useful ».

Since its creation, Google has sought to relay all kinds of information around the world. It sees everything and can make judgements. People always try to find their answers there. In fact, just like God, Google is immaterial, omnipresent and omniscient. The intentional use of the term God is provocative but the status of this search engine is as such that I am tempted to examine its divine aspect. We could even ask ourselves to what extent Google has become a religion ?

And if Google were a religion, what would it look like?
