A Day to know everything about Penninghen

Discover Penninghen’s school thanks to a conference of virtual meetings and exchange during a day of information online. A program created for you to understand the school and to obtain every answer to your questions. Accessible from anywhere in the world, this event, punctuated by strong moments, invites you to discover our school, the preparatory year in applied arts, the interior design formation, the communication formation and the artistical management management formation.

Penninghen Online digital day :

program and conference Two online conferences will be given by the director of the school, supported by diplomate students with an international career. They will allow you to understand Penninghen better, its pedagogy and values, but also the formations offered, the professional openings to which the school prepares students and the admission modalities. Finally, the administrative and pedagogic team will be available all day for individual meetings to answer every of your questions and to support you better in your choice.

Individual online meetings

From 9:30am to 6pm, the admission teams of Penninghen will be available to present you individually the school, the registration and admission modalities and to answer every of your questions.

The meetings last for half and hour and are only accessible by registration. A link to connect will be sent twenty-four hours before the meeting.

Founded in 1968, Penninghen school is located since its beginning in the Saint-Germain-des-Prés district. Known for its cultural wealth, its geographic location is perfect, directly next to the most famous bookshops, museums and art galleries (Orsay museum, Louvre museum, Decorative Arts museum, Orangerie museum), parks and gardens (Luxembourg garden, Esplanade des Invalides, Tuilerie garden, Jardin des Plantes), mythical places (Le Bon Marché, l’Hôtel Le Lutetia, Les Deux Magots, Le Café de Flore) the 6th district offers Penninghen students a perfect immersion in the capital and allows them to develop and maintain their artistic culture.

Ideally located in the capital, surrounded by many transport ways, Penninghen offers many possibilities of discovery and cultural opening, allowing students multiple visits and artistic experiences outside rich and various walls. Known worldwide for its excellence and its demands, Penninghen made bilateral partnerships with prestigious schools and universities such as the OCAD university of Toronto, the Politecnico in Milan, Swinburne University in Australia, UdK in Berlin, SVA in New York or ELISAVA in Madrid. Outside of these exchange programs, Penninghen welcomes each year around 15% students coming from aboard in its headcount.

Five years to learn creative professions.

Thanks to a teaching headcount of 130 teachers, all active professionals, Penninghen students follow a multidisciplinary and professionalizing formation. The program starts with a preparatory year in applied arts allowing to acquire fundamentals of art and creation, then pursuing for four years in one of the three specializations available:

Interior design formation :

  • Communication formation
  • Artistical management formation
  • An historical school and an avant-garde formation

 

Installed in one of the old workshops of the Julian academy, Penninghen offers to students an inspiring setting which saw some of the greatest painters and artists, designers and architects in arts history. Aligned with its time, Penninghen is different thanks to a unique pedagogy which is balanced between academism and modernity, discipline and audacity, technique and creative intuition. Learning at Penninghen, is to make the choice of emancipation through creation.
